ABOUT THE CIC

History

The Cedars Park CIC was formed in May 2011 to carry out activities which benefit the Cedars Park community.

Over the years the community centre has played host to many varied community events some of which are listed below:

• Christmas Fayres
• Themed Nights
• Summer Fetes
• Charity Football Game
• Beer Festivals

Any profits made, or assets used, are   principally for the benefit of the community.

Members

The whole community are invited to become members of the CIC to ensure that your views are represented and give you full rights to attend general meetings, where each member is entitled to 1 vote. Membership is free.

The liability of each member will be limited to £1, being the amount that each member undertakes to contribute to the assets of the Company, in the event of its being wound up while he or she is a member, or within one year after he or she ceases to be a member.

How to Join

Any person living within, or owning a property within the boundaries of the Cedars Park estate, and over the age of 18 years, may apply to become a member, subject to acceptance by the board of directors.
